Sofia is the cozy and elegant home you were looking for, immersed in the historic Via delle Carrozze (where Garibaldi once lived!). In ancient times, the street was a real coach house for the Nobles. Located in a fantastic spot, just 1 minute away from the famous Spanish Steps.
Sofia can accommodate up to 8 guests and is the ideal choice for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The apartment was completely renovated in February 2026. A unique environment, embellished with ancient capitals, suggestive wooden ceiling beams, and refined new flooring. The accommodation consists of:
- A splendid lounge with a fireplace, sofa, dining table, and a modern kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking.
- Two large double bedrooms with comfortable beds, ensuring excellent rest, both featuring en-suite bathrooms. The first room can accommodate up to four people thanks to the sofa bed.
- A sofa bed in the living room, for 2 additional guests.
- Two bathrooms in total. The second bedroom's bathroom is worth mentioning because of a stone shower that evokes the atmosphere of the ancient Roman Baths.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
Via delle Carrozze takes its name from the fact that, in the past, it served as a stable and carriage house for Rome’s nobility. The building across the street holds a special piece of history, as Giuseppe Garibaldi and his beloved Anita lived there until 1849.
The apartment enjoys an exceptional location, just 100 meters from Piazza di Spagna. In only a 5-minute walk, you can reach the Trevi Fountain and Piazza del Popolo, while the Pantheon and Piazza Navona are about 10 minutes away on foot.
Most of Rome’s main attractions are within walking distance, but if you prefer public transport, the Spagna Metro Station (Line A) is also just 100 meters from the apartment.
